Hi, I'm Ashley Day!

I’m a soon-to-be graduate of Georgia State University with a degree in English Rhetoric and Composition. Originally from metro-Atlanta, I transferred from the University of Tennessee in 2022 to focus on rhetoric, which has sharpened my skills in effective communication and persuasive writing. Currently, I am interning with Energy 1st Golf, where I am collaborating with instructors to create an instructional manual for aspiring golf coaches and students, applying principles of clarity and user-centered design that I’ve learned in my coursework. My passion for UX/UI design stems from my belief that effective communication can significantly enhance user experiences. I’m particularly interested in leveraging my background in rhetoric to create intuitive and engaging interfaces. After graduation, I plan to further my studies in Human-Computer Interaction, with the goal of specializing in accessible design solutions for diverse users.
